These are great pics. This is my first forum posting. I walked through Yester last week end and confirm how many huge trees they have. We came across one oddity and my google searches to date have not provided any info. We came across a mature oak that was grafted onto elm root stock. There was much elm growth all around the tree base. I cant confirm what type of oak but slender and more delicate leaves. I di not take a photo but could... Did you see this tree? Do you know any reason why oak would be grafted onto elm.
