  1. The original production line for RB44 / Dodge 50 was moved to China when they closed the plant at Dunstable. They still make the Mark 2 model in china. One of the guys on the Dodge 50 forum is try to find out more but it may mean there will be new spare available which may encourage a few more buyers, which will be hopefully be transformed into Arb trucks. Will update on here as I find out more.

  2. I watched this and they had one truck pulling , two pushing and two spares, every truck was working hard to keep the thing moving. When it got the hill out side a village called Chilton on the way to Newbury, they were down to about 1 may be 2 mph. Ten miles of traffic behind it. Can't wait till they have finished stripping out because then we get the to see the power station being demolished, booooom

  3. Single cabs are expensive even second hand, Mazda / ford ( same truck different badge) are the best, but 4 wheel drive work will wear quickly if used a lot, Toyota, good but the most expensive of the lot and most have starship mileage.

  4. Sorry to hear, hope you get it all back in one piece.

Last Saturday I was under orders from the wife to go shopping for a few bits !!!!!! Whilst parking up I noticed a nice 90 landy. Hundreds of shoppers about, come back to the car and there are the coppers talking to the owner the landy had been nicked. Just not know how they can do such a devious act.

  5. It don't make sense to cut down 20 acres of woodland to feed a boiler, I would look for other sources there's plenty around if you do some research. As previously stated I would consider contacting local tree surgeons to see if they would be willing to give you for free. Storage and fire, unlikely with a bit of care

  6. 1/ you go and stand over there with the others........that way I know I have all the idiots in one place.

    2/ if I want to hear s--t, I'll squeeze your f--king head

3/ my old man told me he worked hard...........but he left a f--king lot for me to do

  7. All of the above, but if the burner has not been used for a while they can be a bit of a pain, in older properties the flue can sweat and become damp.

In my last house I used a blow torch to get some heat into the flue, then fire lighter plus a good stack of dry wood, light it with the blow torch and then slowly close the door still using the torch until you can feel the in rush of air feeding the fire, you should get a slight roaring sound. Leave the door open so the air keeps rushing in, it will burn the wood quick but don't worry about that. Once going keep adding dry Kinderling until you have a really good blaze going, then slowly add logs.

If its possible, I would burn Kinderling or other bits of dry soft wood to keep it going strong as his will dry the flue out. You may find that this is the way you have to lite it every time as some flues no matter how clear, long etc just struggle to work effectively, but once going it should be fine. Future fires should only take a small amount of Kinderling to start.

    Invest in a blow torch.

  8. Feel the same, just had key hole surgery on my knee, but I will be joining you in this quest for a healthier / fitter lifestyle. Currently 16.5, want to be 13.5 and this is the year. Have asked my wife to cook smaller portions for tea, no alcohol, sweets or treats, lots of water and excersise 5 times a week for at least 40 mins, can't wait to get started.
