cheers guys great help. re the 2 fisherman hitches, in the official write up for the hitch it does say not to use knots as it restricts the working of the friction hitch. Fingres crossed i can get one sorted now. Thanks for the help. Rich

Hi there, I am just starting to work my way through my qualifications and just making roads into tree surgery on the isle of man. I am looking to start using a hitch climber system but i am currently having difficulty sourcing a eye to eye prusik to make the valdotain tresse knot to use as a friction hitch. i have got my triple anchor pulley and after a bit of a messing around with 2 krabs that didn't fit into the pulley i am just missing the friction hitch. I am at a loss as to where to get the eye to eye prusik from every where i look online they dont seem to sell them. i have only found them on honey brothers and it has £26 postage which is rather steep for one prusik. Any help would be much appriciated.
