  1. Hi, looking at getting a 7.5t for tree work. It will be me only driving. I've had a few quotes & insurance companies only seam to offer fleet policies costing around £2500 more that it costs me to insure a 3.5t & a van making it not really financial viable.

Has anyone had quotes for a 7.5t on none fleet/owner operator & if so who from & what did you pay.

My operator's license etc is all in place.

    Thanks

  3. Hi

We have been asked to remove a tree that is in a unadopted road. It needs to be removed as its damaging the wall of the house that it grows next to but we cant find the owner of the land and the tree. What is best action to take in the above circumstance??

Both myself and the owner of the house have tried land registry search etc but with no luck.

    Thanks

  4. Hi

I need to buy myself a brush cutter for a job that I have coming up but I'm unsure what the pros/cons are of the different types of blades that are available.

    Dose anyone have any advice?

    Thanks

  5. Hi all,

What is the correct procedure when closing off a pavement to do some work on the trees above. We have done plenty of trees over pavements but always on side streets where there is not much foot fall a few cones signs barrier tape Bob's ur uncle. I looked at a job today with trees over a busy pavement and a busy road also so I can't just pop some cones up and ask people would you mind crossing 4 lanes of traffic? as the chance are that some one will get pi$$@* off and report us to the council.

    Any advice much appreciated.

    Jim
