Looking at getting it guarded when it comes off site next month.Does anyone know of anywhere down in the south west which could fabricate and fit? Cheers

    Story

Mont Blanc. 15,800 feet of snow, rock and ice. The air will be thin, the going will be tough and the weather will be unpredictable. As the tallest peak in Western Europe, it presents a huge challenge to any mountaineer.

In August this year, Jay Wyatt and I are climbing it in aid of CLIC Sargent.

We chose CLIC Sargent because of the outstanding work they do with young people affected by cancer and leukaemia. On a personal level they helped me when I was diagnosed with cancer in my left leg as a child. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have received the same quality of care. So I feel it's only right that I try to and give something in return, even if it pales in comparison to what they've done for me and countless other children. Please donate for this fantastic cause, any amount would be gratefully received.

    Many thanks,

    Tom Webb

  4. Hi I felled this oak the other day. The butt is 5m long with 1100 mm bottom end 980mm top end. Looks like metal in there somewhere but didn't find it. Would it be worth anything? Offered it to the local mill and the butts to big for the mill. image.jpg.de4f446a7afc901d2420c51ee0cc19c1.jpg

  5. Sorry to hear that mate. The same thing happened to a local firm today in gloustershire, stow on the wold. In a very secluded lane the Truck was left for less than 2 min and a few saws and blower where taken they even nicked the blokes phone. These Low life scum need to be taken more seriously by the police. It's not just a saw it's someone's income. It's a Joke

  6. Sorry to hear that mate. Must be the same people who nabbed all my kit. I hope someone catches them at it soon. It's seem they will only take quality tools and leave everything else. The only thing that PC plod could find in my container was size 7 and 9 muddy trainer prints. He told me it's not the work of a gypo it's to well planned and they would of taken everything not just specific tools. My dad's amg alloys with brand new winter tyres where left which where worth more than what they stole. Hope you get everything sorted
