  11. I got mine today! I hide all the forest journals from the mrs! they'd be burned! I am not too sure if i'd need a harvester and forwarder with the tenders, I am going to have a look at them!
  12. Ideal bud! Trying to sort a bit of sub-work for a harvester and forwarder, the maths are not simple! especially for these tenders! many thanks for that!
  13. Its a different story here with rocks, hillsides and boggy places! To be honest, I'm a saving up money to buy a mediocre forwarder not too expensive and not a shed! I'm looking everywhere for timber patches either softwood or hardwood from 300 tonne to couple of thousand! Very hard to come by these days!
  14. I've got 2 worn tyres on the front, got to sort that out! again very expensive! got wheel chains for it, it can go anywhere with them! Its got 4 levers, left to right, blade, winch and forward and reverse, very simple! ten ton hercules winch, its been very well looked after, Whats the skidding work like around your area?

Just started up timber extraction with 2 skidders, looking for patches of timber(SOFTWOOD OR HARDWOOD) from 200 tonne up to couple of thousand tonne around N.Wales, Mid Wales or across the border, will pay a fair rate. Will sort out felling licences and other problems! many thanks! Mark
