Hello everyone,
An interesting forum..I have an semi-natural woodland in which i raise tamworth pigs. I am also coppicing neglected hazel to make charcoal from this winter.
The pigs are there to reduce the wild garlic (Allium ursinum) population. I intend to re-seed with bluebell. (seed already picked).
Always looking for a few volunteers throughout the year. lots to do
My business is making Charcuterie, teaching curing and smoking and butchery.
I have a forestry degree Bsc (hons)
Look forward to chatting
Am looking for a second hand charcoal kiln

Hello to everyone,
I am new on here. Now that i have joined i hope to enjoy a bit of banter.
I raise woodland Tamworth pigs, coppice neglected Hazel and make Charcuterie for a living.
We begin making charcoal this winter and i am looking for a second hand charcoal kiln.
I have researched and i know i could buy a new one but first i thought i would sound you all out first.
I have also put a bit of info about myself in the general chat forum for those that may find me useful
