hi there im looking on some advice please, i make sign out of wooden slices, and i needing info on types of wood that dont crack as much as others and how can i prevent them cracking. am i best leaving it to dry in wood round then slice, or slice while wet at an angle and dry slowly. also what wood keeps its bark on best, im using lime just now but the bark falls off when dry.

things i would put in a box? mmmmmmmmmmmmmm today it would be my fiance also id have no breathing holes!!!!!!! i dont think that would get me a job though lol

im demanding it! lol what about air dried? iv got loads of wood but its either not log cut or been dead for a while and been left out in the nice Scottish weather.

i dont make anything with them, i just sell them on ebay for all those wood turners out there, i do sometimes do pyrography on some small slabs of burr i like how the burr frames it.
