Cool video! What were the logistics involved to warrant a helicopter? Distance to chipper or drop zone hazards?

Joking aside (and I did quote my waist size from 25 years ago - Grrrrr, I would have got away with it without you Huck, you meddling kid!), it also depends on what the bulk of your work is.
A beefy harness may suit you much better for instance if most of your work is takedowns on spikes.
A lighter harness may suit a top pruning lad better.
I was surprised by my Sequoia, as it falls in the latter category but most of my work is in the former.
I've caned it for 5 years and will buy another when it's shot, replaced the bridge about 3 times.
It's such an individual thing though.
Most good climbers I've worked with have the Sequoia or Treemotion, although I'm sure there are other really good contenders out there.
Don't ever be influenced by price, you will spend more time in your harness than boozing with your mates and having sex with your lass put together.

Hi Guys, Ive had mine for 6 months now and very happy for them. I've come from airstreams and these are better for sure.
One thing is though, the eyes have started coming lose from the leather and the ones that are still in place have broken and left very sharp edges(not foot locking friendly).
I've taken them back and have a new pair which are a improved design having fixed this problem.
But, as with the airstreams it's the soles that wear out quickly.... 8 months and I'm through the vibram rubber and into the next layer.
Am I the only one having this issue with modern boots?

I think we paid 2700 danish kroner so around 280 quid for the duel pack, including shipping. It's fairly dear but worth every penny now we have them. We're getting a week or more out of the battery. We don't listen to music(unless doing something mundane and I tend not to have the phone connected) so just comms when we need it.
My mucker does tend to sing a bit as it happens and burp.... But you can play around with the settings so you just push the big button to connect when you want to talk. We've tested it to a range of maybe 100 m in the woods and 600m line of sight.
One thing, see if you can find a bright sticker to put on the battery pack so when it gets knocked off you'll find it easy

It's very good, once your used to the addition on the back of your helmet and you don't knock the battery off!
We're two guys working so it is amazing how it has made things a lot more efficient.

Morning Yve Clark.
I'm looking at my helmet, which part is the koroyd insert? The soft padding material or the plastic web to which it is attached?

The Protos Forest is for groundies. The Protos Arborist is for climbers.
I got the Arborist cos I bought it from a shop in Holland.
It won't be available here for months because of our retarded HSE and CE system.
I've had mine 3 months now, best helmet I've had so far the only difference between the groundy and climbers helmet is the addition of the chin strap I think.
Great for climbing, nothing to snag on and fits like a dream!

Pristeen garden and poor access then by the looks of it. I can only imagine the hourly cost of a heli though...
