  1. It's really just a case of those who can afford to charge high prices will do so.:001_smile:

    Those who have kids and rent to pay for will go in cheaper...:001_tt2:

    It's a case of needs must when the devil drives...

    We all have **** to pay for and if we cant afford it...then b+gger the future...:thumbup:

  2. :001_rolleyes:After driving up a road that was closed due to snowfall and drifting...:001_rolleyes:

    I got the transit stuck....:thumbdown:

    After an hour of revving the **** out of it...I got her shifted....only to have the tipper go mad and constantly go up....even when the switch was off...:sneaky2:

    So the battery went flat....in 2 foot drifts...:crying::crying::scared1:

    After 3 hours.....a snow plough turned up...and gave me a jump start...:thumbup::thumbup:

    Shame it was a 24 volt system.....:blink::blink:

    So I now have a tranny...stuck miles out on the moors...in a 3 foot snow pile...with a flat battery...and melted battery wires....:cursing::cursing:

    That's gonna be fun to get out again...:blushing::puke::puke:

  3. I agree,as you say there is an adjustable flow control & it could have been on slow. This is for large diameter timber to stop autofeeding as much as possible as this wastes time & fuel, having a chipper that feeds fast & constantly autofeeds is unproductive.

    The pulling power of the motors is 6167in/lbs of torque per wheel & 1646lbs of pulling power per wheel,in laymans terms a chuffin lot not to mention the hydraulic crush to assist.

    If you lift the top feedwheel out of the way so the only thing pulling in the timber is the disc there is no difference, the wheels & toplift are just extras.

    What does the flowmeter look like...and which way does it turn to speed it up...??:001_smile:

  4. they make harder chain to cut through, then they make gas axes and angle grinders easily portable, we cant win!

    i have a steel box in my truck, it fits my saws in and i can lock it, not the easiest thing to get into at the best of times, but it works.

    When on site if im in a back garden i take it all through with me and then i know where it all is, the only thing that may stay in the truck is a brush or shovel till we need it, all valuable kit is in sight.

    Its happening too much, are people cottoning on to us or is it just the times?!

    I had my saws and blowers nicked twice from outside my house in Hampshire..they were chained to the seats in a truck on my drive.

    I then got a steel box in the back of the van...and put them in there instead.

    I had the entire van stolen about a week later. None of it was seen again...van included.

  5. I would be surprised if you have any problems, it will never wear out. Just keep knives sharp & a good edge on the anvil & you will need to do nothing more, it will be a cheap chipper. If you need anything give me a shout.

    Cheap...??

    Cheap...??

    It cost me £600...:lol::lol::lol:

    pays for itself everyday...:001_tt2:
