  1. i agree i put 2 straps on my homemade one and it grips the trunk better than the grcs
  2. i didnt i just rung lewmar who make the winches they said 1.3 tonne for the winch .the bolts that hold the winch to the back plate the braking straine is huge so dont worry about that its just the straps and there marked up

  5. no the lowering bollard in the picture is set directly center
  6. yeah i understand ive put a tonne on it droped a good load on it its been fine i have 2 10 tonne straps on it .it works best with both

  10. yeah i understand what hes saying but i dont understand is that if i take my top strap off .the design would be the same as what you say is better. but no matter what it will still pull to the trunk no matter what if theres one or two straps the force from the rope is still there no matter what
  11. yeah mate i know that .i got told i need a ce number for my winch.just wondered where i could get one for it ?
