I've had my shear for a week now, how did I survive without it, demo grab hasn't been on since.
Hi Stephen what make is that shear? Thanks John

Parker f11 or f12 motor or any gear motor of a similar spec not an orbital motor as per your link. There was a homemade processor on ebay a while back which had a complete unit from a farmi or japa.

Yes the rollers have bearings, as for the adjustment it's a rather rudimentary
affair involving a welded on nut and a bolt to adjust. Not sure exactly
I'll get a pic for you Thursday when we re-start.
Will it last? time will tell, repair should be easy enough, and at 3 grand I won't lose the farm if it's a lemon.
As I said, a Boxer would have been my preference;
Any more progress?

You can also get forks for a mini/midi digger too if you had more use for it.

A guy wants to hire our mini digger but there is no access so its got to go over a 6' wall, just testing to make sure the Mog can lift it. The two strops are 5' so we can gain a bit more there if needed but are well within its capabilities.

You may want to check if they are the correct lifting points, the cab is usually only bolted on with 4 small bolts. The blade is usually used as two and either the rear ballast or top of boom next cab.

Are those battery powered PIR wildlife/security cameras any good to catch the scum in the act?

The military market must not have worked out for them then? A guy was killed testing them in the US (went over a cliff), the same tragic fate as the owner of the segway company.
