  1. The fuel line is in good condition. Wiped the plastic around the fuel cap down and I can see the fuel coming out quite quickly when the saw is sitting upright and doesn't leak on it side. It also seems air is being pushed out through the seal of the cap, would this have anything to cause the fuel leak? My only thought is there is something to do with the fuel tank vent?

  2. Hi all

Im looking at getting a new pair of wellies for the winter/autum/spring season (will be mainly planting in them etc.) It doesn't have to have steel toe.

Which muck boot do you have and what is good about it? (As im interested in the "Tay" boot).

Where is the cheapest place to get them?

    Any help appreciated!

  5. This is our neighbours Beech that was pruned around two years ago. Some limbs/butts from previous limb removal are suffering from rot but the tree itself seems to be coping ok! Although the wall built on top of its roots probably didn't help it.

  6. Evans will hardly be beaten on price, for sure, and were pretty friendly and helpful on the phone.

Just take advantage of their price match. Like looking on Chain Reaction Cycles. Price match allows you to get the discount if collecting aswell. Saved me a fair bit on parts for my mountain bike.

  7. Right, a friend of mine was explaining a "problem" he has in his hands (mainly right) after long use of a chainsaw (4/5 days a week, felling, ringing firewood etc). Basically in the evenings they close up like the shape of holding a glass or the trigger handle of the chainsaw.

I'm struggling to figure out what it is. Would it be anything to do with white finger etc?

  8. Does anyone know where i could get hold of a set? I have a set of protector pro boots and thought for forestry work it would be brilliant to have walking over logs! I have tried the place i bought my boots from but they say they cant get hold of them.

Also not sure about fitment of them, whats the best way of doing it without wrecking the sole of the boot?

Heres a pic of them on a diff Haix boot if anyone hasn't seen them before:

  9. Freeclimbing is something one should really not encourage nor promote, what we do in our own time is down to us, but there are many who will want to aspire to such things be careful what you post my friend, but know your not alone.

Yes, i understand. Its my own time and body and i wouldnt want to encourage anyone else to try it, its just something i like doing and someone shouldn't be "stupid" enough to copy someone. As the saying goes, you wouldn't jump off a bridge if someone told you to.
