If you need a job in melbourne look up Pat Kenyon who runs Treetactics.
Every time i see Pat he's asking for more english workers!~

Drew ive been thinking about this for a few days, and if the scenario is rescuing a person who is accessing the tree on srt eg. (hand ascender, croll, pantin).
And you the rescuer are on a single line eg.(unicender, ropewrench)
1. attach to the dummy d to d
2. put a (ropeman, duck, or prussic) 1-2 metres above your uni/rw with a pulley attached.
3. transfer your laynard to your d and put through pulley and then connect to dummys d
4. advance the tail of your laynard with your pantin to take the weight of the dummys srt setup, and disconnect them from the croll etc.
5. lower the dummy of your laynard untill all there weghts on the original d to d attachment
6. proceed to lower the dummy down on your line, probably with a back up eg. figure 8

if the top hand ascender was to fail, the fall would be huge, as he has the attachment point running from ascender to ascender through the biner on his brigde.
