Yes....spot on. No patio when I made the first site visit

I went to see the job and offered to try to clean it later in the week. I have been working professionally in this business full time since 1978 and this is the first time I have come across this. It’s not actually the customer...she’s happy with the work. It’s the neighbour (who requested the work). He alleges that when he came back from a weekend away, that the patio was stained after we had been on site. The patio was laid 2 weeks ago.

It’s one of these expensive riven slabs.

The neighbour of a customer has alleged that cypress trees that we were pruning have stained a few slabs on his new ornate patio. He has tried to power wash them without success. Any ideas how to remove these stains? I think that patio cleaner will discolour the slabs and if he has tried to power wash them it is unlikely that detergent will remove it? The guy is looking for a relay of his patio!

I assume that a respray would involve removing the original powder coat and might affect the warranty of a new machine?

Don t understand why we put up with this. Chippers are relatively simply built machines that are hugely expensive to purchase. Seems like a conspiracy to reduce the working life by the manufacturers. The one that I am using at the moment is two years old and the paint has started to peel off. The older TWs seems better built than the newer ones.

Have had both Timberwolf and Greenmech chippers over the last 20 years. The paint seems to just peel and fall off of them within a very short time. Do all modern chippers use powder coating? Seems cheap to me to design and build a machine to such a high spec and not do a proper paint job. You would not put up with a car in the same way

Looking for a mapping program whereby I can cut and paste a garden and plot tree positions onto it and send in an email. I know that this can be done with GIS software but that is expensive and big. I am thinking cheap/free and small(memory...don't want to have to use a whole computer). Arcview was suggested but know nothing about this. Anyone know anything about this?

What about a powered jockey wheel? I don't do alot off road stuff so thought a powered jockeu wheel with off road tyres might do lawns and stuff.

Anyone ever used a caravan mover to manouver a towed chipper? Don't know why chipper manufacturers have not sussed this out by now. I don't need a tracked chipper but it would be useful to be able to move my towed chipper without having to get hold of a quad. Was thinking along the lines of a eurotech caravan mover but not sure if they are powerfull enough (or too slow).
