Judging by it's performance I would say that's quite slow. I have one for sale in classified it will cut 12 inches in one cut and is much quicker.
Yours looks good, but one of the reasons I was looking at the Rosselli was the blade was more confined unless actually cutting the log, what do you other guys think?
-
I believe this one has a normal blade rather than a Tungsten Tipped blade. Worth checking to see if the price they quote you is with a Tungsten blade upgrade. Also worth checking the number of drive belts and if the gearbox is steel or Aluminium.
Yes I am from Riko but I would like to think we have a better machine we can offer you.
We also have a special Arbtalk member price that should put a smile on your face! You can email the office at [email protected] or reply via Arbtalk.

Just been down there. Still going strong.
I got a copy of last year's pricelist and they have
Alnus Glutinosa 40-60 cm 36p
Alnus Cordata 60-90 cm 46p
Acer Campestre 60-90 cm 26p
All bare rooted, not sure of minimum quantities etc.
Hope this helps,
Tom
and yes, I can just see them from my house..........
thanks for taking time to go and check

Alder it is then, can any members from Northern Ireland suggest a supplier?

BTW, You didn't mention how far into the future you want the firewood; remember the old addage about 'planting trees for your grandchildren'. I'm in my fifties, so giving up on planting anything slower growing than Ash.
I would like to start harvesting in say 15-20 years

Permanently wet?
Yes, currently has grass growing but too wet to drive a tractor through even in July/August

Hi,
As per title, suggestions on type of tree to plant. I'm looking plant around 2 acres of wet ground for future firewood. Some folk have suggested Ash, is this the best option?
