1. JOB OPPORTUNITY SOUTH EAST KENT
CLIMBER - TEAM LEADER - LEAF TREE SERVICES

Job will suit someone that wants to manage a team on a daily basis yet still be lead climber. Work is mainly domestic and local - however we carry out commercial and council also.
all necessary qualifications should be in place as we are looking to appoint and experience climber not a trainee.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS AND QUALITY OF WORK ARE PARAMOUNT

Any enquires to be sent to [email protected] or call 07833447849

2. I meant I doubt anyone could beat that setup, then I remembered this isn't a big dick contest!

I've shot since I was 9 on air rifles, then the usual progression through shotguns, .22's etc.

I was obsessed with ballistics as a kid, and something I'll get back into one day.

Working Dutchie will do me for now.

If you get any 1200yrd retrieves give me a buzz!

What about a retrieve at 3 yards of a cue ball?

3. That's mostly only to do with the kit I've spent money on. Some of my mates who own firms have only invested about a third of what I have. Just a very ambitious person whose ocd about detail and a workaholic (last bit I am trying to stop but my goal is to buy the house I want not just to own a house)

Very inspirational Mr Flatters. Would love to look at your set up if ever I am up your way.

4. As Per the title, We are looking to employ a full time member of staff. Anyone interested should have a proactive work ethic - trustworthy and reliable. We are open to differing arrangements i.e employment on a sub contractor basis but it would have to be a reliable system to work. The role can either be as a competent climber or trainee climber/ groundsman however you must be prepared to undertake the "boring" work , hedge trimming, maintenance and logging as well as the glamorous reductions and takedowns and you will be the "team leader" running the jobs often with yourself as point of contact with the clients and myself ensuring jobs are carried out safely, timely and to the correct standard. Good kit and existing staff, and an easy going working environment. email [email protected] with any cvs or enquiries.

5. I am about to sacrifice a long standing contract because I won't sacrifice my standards for what they want done. It will kill me knowing another firm is doing the work in there because it was a steady flow but perhaps i will sleep easier at night knowing I haven't dropped my standards, perhaps however I will feel differently when the mortgage bill comes through.

6. I have recently taken a lot of pride in offering and completing "the whole job" for example felling a tree grinding the stump and replanting. I offer replanting as a matter of course now, like to think maybe I am sustaining the job for the next generation! Not that I purposely plant the wrong species in the wrong location of course!

7. I have been asked to fell a small magnolia situated in the corner or a courtyard garden encased by two houses. Not a problem.. However My client also asked me to poison the stump left. Something I was once told was if there is a structural building concern then by poisoning the stump and the subsequent narrowing of the roots and hence the change in structural composition of the soil you can do as much damage this way as you could by leaving it alive in place. Interesting theory but it seems a no win situation, advice appreciated?
