  1. Hi All, I've just bought an Entec Treebusta and it was suggested that I put my post in here as you guys might be able to help me out with a few questions? 1) Where can I get a manual? Paper or PDF, I'm not fussy. 2) Do they have a serial/model number and where is it? I have found the engine details (13 hp Kohler) but thought the chipper might have it's own? 3)It's very loud! Even when not chipping. Is this normal or do I have an exhaust problem? 4) Are there any variants? If I needed new blades etc, are they all the same ( hence me looking for serial number) Thanks in advance, Darren
  2. Yes, I do seem to remember it happening before, but can't recall if I did anything about it. Darren
  3. I'm not exactly sure as I hadn't posted for a little while. I've noticed it also does it if I just go to the forum and click on my post. Eventually it seems to stop reloading or maybe just loading? (after at least 5 mins) and doesn't show the last post unless I then press refresh My PC is exceptionally slow anyway and maybe it should all happen in an instant normally? I will log on with my iPad later and see what happens there. Darren
  4. Yes, but I thought it just related to logging in? My PC is so old and that nothing ever gets installed without complications, crashes, much wasted time and blue air Point taken though Perhaps I'd be better using my iPad (if I can get it back off my daughter...or my wife... or the dog! She is a Border Collie after all Darren
  5. Not necessarily no. It's just that I have no idea how old the machine is and if there were any variants or modifications/improvements during the Treebusta's production lifespan. It just helps when buying spare parts etc. Although I appreciate they are pretty basic anyway. Darren
  6. Hi, I am running Internet Explorer 8 and am having issues with the Arbtalk site. When I get an email to notify me of a response to a thread, I click on it and the page loads but keeps re-loading and re-loading. Ironically, it doesn't show the latest post that I was notified by email about! I would really prefer to stay with IE8, is there anything in the settings I can change to stop this happening? Darren
  7. What did you get in the end Stephen? Is it any good? Darren
  8. Thanks for the replies guys. I don't seem to have a serial number plate on mine. It's an ex-orange plant machine, so maybe it was moved or just removed when it was painted orange? I've tried posting my questions in the Timberwolf section but it keeps logging me out when I try to post any idea's why? Thanks, Darren

  10. Reviving an old thread I know.. but what did you buy in the end? How has it worked out for you? I'm in exactly the same position now. Cheers Daz
  11. Thanks How long do you think it will be before it grows back? Daz
  12. Hi folks Been out to look at three thuja plicata zebrina this morning. They are approx 10 years old and were planted about 2 - 2 1/2 feet apart and although they have been trimmed, they have all grown into one. They are about 9 foot tall and the client wants about 3 feet taking off the top and a good trim and shape around the outside with a least 1 1/2 foot coming off where it has grown over the neighbours lawn. They want to keep them as they act as a screen, but they are too big. I think what they imagined the end result to look like and the reality are very different! My questions are: 1) Is this too much to take off in one go? 2) How long will it take to green up on the sides and the top? 3) Is early November a good, bad or indifferent time to do them? 4) Any other advice? Cheers, Daz
  13. Hello Mate, I don't have anything at the moment, but where on the W.Mids/Worc's border are you? Darren
  14. Bump! For a reply, even if it's "no thanks"
  15. Hi, sent you a PM earlier in the week, just checking if you received it? Regards, Darren
