  1. A reputable lincolnshire estate based near horncastle requires a self employed chainsaw operator with own transport, Ppe, saws, fuel, certification

Regular work and good pay for a hard working, organised and reliable person with a can do attitude

Please leave details or contact the number provided

  2. I'm looking to hire a large processor to attack my 200 ton stack of seasoned cord wood

I'm thinking along the lines of a binderberger type of machine, 20 inch plus job

After prices for a weeks hire please, accommodation available in the pub on the estate

    Based near horncastle, Boston, Lincs

    Any help appreciated

    Regards, Sam

  3. Hello

I'm the head forester on a lincolnshire estate with large volumes of yew which will be scheduled to thin out or clear fell coupes and let regen, we have some large diameter, clean straight stems, I will be measuring some of the bigger butts this month to see exactly what we have

I'm looking for a reliable user who requires a steady supply and hopefully larger quantities so this can be added to the woodland management plan for the estate

    Kind Regards, Sam

  4. Hello

I have 3 large beech logs, over 4 foot diameter the butt log is, all 3 are in 8 foot lengths, some spalting and slight red/brown coloration in places, one very small area is soft but mainly good solid logs with a bit of character

Located just outside Newark, Nottinghamshire, would maybe suit a chainsaw Miller or a carver perhaps

Open to offers and thought its a shame to cut up for firewood when someone may be able to use them for a better purpose

    kind regards

  5. Hi guys, got roughly 20-25 pine stumps that need ripping out, felled higher to pull/dig them out on a golf course, the biggest is around 2 foot diameter and they are in the nottinghamshire area, anyone out there got some kit suitable and a price please? Im thinking digger or beefy hydraulic winch, any interest pm me, rgds

  6. hi guys, felled some yew logs around a year ago and have decided they would make nice floorboards as they are long, decent diameter and clean. it will be around a years time when i get a place to put the boards in and was wandering is there any way or the best way to get around the lack of seasoning milling wise? any help would be greatly appreciated, rgds, sam
