Yeah I feel like it's not worth the risk, even if they are genuine. They were looking for £500 for the year too.

Does anyone here advertise with a company called Nursing Homes Uk? I have been scammed before by similiar sort of deal. I got a call from their rep saying they want to compile a list of 3 contractors per county and would distribute your details to nursing homes via website and brochure. It may be legit but I just wanted to see if anyone else has been contacted.

Is ash not good to go straight away?

Surprisingly that really helps during a days work, being able to have a bit of banter whilst your all doing your own jobs, climbing, dragging or chipping. The days work is more enjoyable staff are happier all round that's worth money to any business

Never used these ones but we use the sena Bluetooth headsets they are brilliant, don't like working without them now.

Iv got the same problem with the 362. It's really annoying me now and the two 261s are almost as bad. Iv heard greasing the sprocket bearing helps but for professional saws I grudge having to do that

Another vote for the senas we have had them about 6 months now and wouldn't want to be without them

Thanks, yeah I really do, tr8, it chips well although I wouldn't say there's too much of a difference between it and the tw190. It's also been back to forst a few times to get teething problems sorted but their customer service has been very good, it was an early model so I guess that's the chance you take with unproven machines.

Yeah it's a 7.5t MAN and the skid steer is a kanga 8 series, great tool!

We have one, 2 years old now. It's a very handy addition, like any tool for tree work it's not ideal for every site but the jobs you can get it near the timber especially lengths of smaller/medium sized stuff it's brilliant. Can take the grab off and put a hook on for delivering logs too so depending on what you need it for its versatile. It is expensive but it's an investment and hopefully a tool we will have for 10+ years

Out of interest what do you like with the cab star over the transit?

This thrives on dead wood doesn't it? So chances are it is not having much of an impact on the host tree? I'm just intersted in what recommendation you might give the client after identifying that situation?

Isa have some podcasts on climbing/rigging and equipment etc some interesting stuff and some pretty basic. They also have ones on tree diseases and science of arb, worth a listen

We did yeah, a nice decking which got a bit mangled but could have been worse

Mine both got changed to spur sprockets from stihl dealer and they aren't any better

Had this split and heavy leaning poplar to do today, wasn't looking forward to it but all done and dusted now.
