  1. Hi all, I used my chipper the other day and I could hear a rattling noise

It was coming from where the belts are located,

I removed the casing and I could see that a gear was lose and that was the problem.

It doesn't look like it's there for any purpose

Please could someone let me no if it has a use

    Two questions

    1. What weight can that lift ?

    2. I see you have a 125 chipper

I also have one but my feed rollers are playing up

They will go around then stop and so on

Sometimes they won't go around at all

    Very annoying

    Thanks for your help

    Paul

I bought It to years ago and it's worked great until recently the rollers have stopped working

I ll start the machine up and they will be twitching as if there stiff then work for 10 seconds then not work then start twitching again

I have taken the top roller out and cleaned

    And greased

But the problem is still there

    Please help

    Thanks

    Paul

  4. Hi this is a question i had fron a custoner

Hi there I have a a row of large conifers about 5 foot away from my house, if these were to be cut down to the ground, would the roots cause more damage to the pathways, house etc when rooting down than if the were to stay their.

So is it best to cut the trees down to ground level or just topped ? As the ground is clay

I would of thought cutting them down wouldn't cause to much trouble compared to if they just let them grow bigger or if they were to cut them in half

Please let me no your thoughts the tree s are the Same height as the house so quite big

  5. Yes I no that but entec chipper of this year should be yellow I think

But What I'm thinking is an entec 1999 chipper worth much less than a tw 125 1999 chipper as i saw a tw 125 2001 sell for £3500

He wants £4500 for this one

    I appricate the help

    Thanks

    Paul
