  1. Jonesie, thanks for link, I had seen that in my travels, Can you explain why it only mentions EN12492? Is it the chinstrap design alone? Petzl Vertex VENT Arborist Climbing Helmet and Petzl Vertex BEST Climbing Helmet for example state they are certified to both codes, does a helmet with just the EN12492 rate better than those? And, What about a helmet that states EN397 but has the linesman Y-type chinstrap and called a Work at Height helmet? These helmets are generally more expensive than those helmets that just state they are EN12492 Climbing Helmets. What's the reasoning behind this?
  2. Can anyone advise on EN codes? I am trying to figure out which EN is best! As far as I can tell (via googling) a helmet that is certified as EN397 Work At Height is the better helmet to use for climbing/rigging, head protection, Y/N?
