Hi All,
I am in need of someone who can offer a block of training in following NPTC units; NPTC Course code-2549 (aerial tree rescue operations), 2554 (chainsaw from a mewp), 2552 (rigging), first aid, 2543 (felling trees over 380) and possible refresh in new tree climbing techniques.
I hold all old NPTC units (aerial rescue, chainsaw use in tee, felling) but would like to renew the units below as I haven’t climbed for a while. The problem is I will be coming from Hong Kong and would need them in a block session as soon as possible. Anywhere between Brighton and London would be good. I have emailed Scott Fraser and GMarbtrees so far.
Any help would be great!! thanks

Hi, any ideas on a good tablet for surveying? Needs to be weather resistant etc and have GPS. We will be using if for trees, Tomograph software and surveying for Ecology.
Any help would be great as I live overseas and there isn't much available in East Asia.
Many Thanks

Went to see a Oak tree today with hardly any leaves coming through. It still had all the dead flowers on the whole of the tree and when I looked closely there were larva inside the old flower head.
Anybody know what this is? Im presuming some type of caterpillar?
Would this have a big significant effect on a 200 yr old Oak.
The old crysallis were tiny, like 2 poppy seeds together
