  1. Im currently 21 and have A ND in Arboriculture L3. I also have climbing tickets and so on. Im currently studying for a degree in Conservation Biology (I think im on the right track but the course lacks in certain areas im most interested in). Ive been looking at the Arb Associations 3 days courses and unsure to if they are worth the bother? My main motivation is that I really enjoy the survey side of things and the law that goes along with it. As bad as it sounds I like the sound of dealing with the public and trying to make them understand the greater importance of a tree and there not all dangerous due to minor looking defects! (Maybe its lack of experience in this area that makes me think I will enjoy it).
  2. Im curious of what steps I will need to take in order to become A Tree officer for a local council for example. Obviously great amounts of experience and education but what courses should I be looking at?
