I am a stickler for keeping my woodchipper and trucks clean, but it is almost mission impossible to do this in the summer months and especially when the sap is rising.
I have the truck washed every 2 weeks and bring the chipper in once a month for a birthday treat but does anyone have any tips or tricks for getting that baked on spot sap off paintwork? You know the stuff, lumps of horrible speckled sap that won't budge, even with engine degreaser!
I had thought about taking a heat gun to warm up the bodywork on the chipper then gently lifting away with a soap solution and razor blade but I'm worried that doing this could scratch through the layers of paint etc...
Any thoughts, tips and advice greatly appreciated
