Hi guys this is mainly a question for some of the more experienced climbers or anyone really who thinks they could help me out with this question. I am coming close to finishing my Foundation Degree in Arboriculture and I have already done a summers work for a tree surgery company. I know now tree surgery is the career route I want to take and was wondering if anyone had any advice for a young tree surgeon. Any help or advice would be much appreciated, I just want to be good at my job and have a solid reputation.
Any help much appreciated
Cheers

Hi guys Im doing a P&D portfolio as part of my Foundation Degree in arboriculture and I came across this little fungi on a old apple orchard near to Pershore where I study, any help with the ident would be great, sorry its so small I couldnt get any closer to it, its right in the middle of the picture looks like a small orange ball. Ive tried researching as to what it is but so far no luck, any help would be much appreciated.

Hi guys this is mainly a question for any kiwis or anyone who has worked for treescape in New Zealand. I am currently coming to the end of my Foundation Degree in arboriculture and I wanted to work here in the UK gaining some experience before going out to New Zealand to work as a tree surgeon in December/January.
When I asked my lecturer if he had any contacts in New Zealand he recommmended treescape.co.nz as a good company.
I was wondering if anyone had worked for this company before and what they were like.
I have CS30,31,38 and 39 and was wondering if there were any other skills/qualifications which would make me more employable.
Any advice/help would be great.

Hey Gerrit no offence meant I just wanted a second opinion, hahah. Thanks a lot you really seem to know your fungi. What do you do? I am a arboriculture student and we have a project on the moment identifying fungi.
