  1. I have HGV 2 (in old money). Thanks to you all so far, more positive than I thought which is great. Life in the old dog yet......keep the advice coming, it is REALLY appreciated.
  2. Hi I need the advice of all of those who have been climbing for a while. I am a 42 year old (ancient I know) and left the Army 3 years ago. I like to think i keep fit although probably not fit enough. I want to get into Arb and looking at doing a course with either Kingswood Training or Merrist Wood. That will give me CS30, CS31, 38, 39, chippers and grinders. So, am I too old to start? Has anyone else my age started in the industry? Hard work doesn't frighten me and neither just working outdoors in all weathers - thats what I want!! I need the voice of experience, however brutal!! Thanks

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
