  2. Our teams of Utility Arborists are responsible for maintain a contractual clearance from Northern Powergrid’s electrical network. We also identify trees that pose a hazard to the network due to disease or ill health and implement management plans to reduce the risk. As an individual you will be expected to work in a safe manner conducting aerial and ground-based tree work in accordance with relevant legislation including B.S 3998 2010. Attractive competitive salary depending on experience. What will this role involve? • Practical Arboricultural tasks contributing to an efficient combined voltage programme of tree clearance, within prescribed timescales. • Ensure the safety of yourself, team members and Public on site. • To establish maximum economical tree clearances from all electrical equipment. • Climbing, pruning and site tidy up in line with BS3998 2010 and completion of data records with an educated recut estimation. • Adhere to all relevant legislation pertaining to tree management in relation to power line clearance, including Tree Preservation Orders, Conservation Area restrictions and European Protected Species. • Landowner management including adhering to the agreed access and egress routes, work prescription as detailed on the work pack and maintaining a good communication with landowners when on the work site. • Ensure, through good communication, between Team members, Supervisors, Surveyors and Management. • Completion of daily personal dynamic risk assessment and whereabouts reporting. • Monitor and report to Supervisors, all PPE and equipment requirements including daily vehicle checks. • Extensive travel throughout the North East of England and Yorkshire.   8. Following the success this year of the enrolment of 3 apprentices. Ocs/Fountains are looking to recruit a number of Utility Arb apprentices in January, with a long term view of working on they're current utility projects. The Apprentices will benefit from a 12 month bespoke structured learning programme, which is carried out with partnership of Askham Bryan College York. Although the apprenticeship doesn't take place until January, we will be holding an open day/compentancy based interviews later in the year. The minimum requirements are: must be aged 18 or over, have a full driving licence and must have a desire to succeed in a challenging work environment.   11. No it doesn't fire straight, have to start it as if its cold, choke couple of pulls fire choke off fires runs then dies as if you've just turned it off?
  12. I've had the fuel tank off checked the filter and line both fine, air filter off and cleaned carb off and cleaned, still doing it grrr
  13. My stihl strimmer fs86, fires and starts fine runs for about 3o secs then dies? I'm thinking carb possibly?? Any help appreciated Cheers Ben
