  1. As per the tittle.

Looking for a small processor that I can use in my garden.

I did see the Bilke s3 with the self contained motor but cost is a bit steep. Key feature is a band saw not chainsaw

Just speculating at the moment as I currently use a saw and vertical splitter just seems a bit time consuming.

Always looking to go quicker/ more efficient.

I'm not sure if a product even exists but you never know.

  2. Hello.

Currently run an 06 pathfinder and it died on me this Saturday.

Driving ok hesitated around 2000rpm bit of black smoke out the back revved ok after that, then it stalled and would not restart. I think they use the same engine as a Nivara has anyone had this?

Any idea what it could be

    Cheers

  3. Hi just had an email from the wife, took the pick up out for a run and said its running louder than normal, went to a garage, to be told the catalytic converter had been sliced off. Is nothing safe anymore, its all the more frustrating as i am overseas at the moment so gonna pay over the odds for something i can fix myself.

Just feeling angry, small fry compared to be cleaned out but just be warned.

This happened in the Swindon area if it helps anyone else just be vigilant.

The garage said there is a spate of it happening lately.

    Season greetings

  4. Hello all.

Due to the cut backs i find myself looking at an enforced career change (MOD).

I used to work as a groundie (no tickets) before i joinned up and now kinda wish i stayed at it.

When i leave i will have hopefully aquired all my tickets, I have been in contact with Kingswood training school and they seem to offer everything i could possibly need.

I am hoping to base myself in the Swindon, Wilts area and work in the surrounds.

My question is: Is there enough work to sustain new people coming into the industry. I ask this as i dont want to re-train only to find that supply out strips demand.

If anyone would like to meet up for a pint in Swindon and tell it like it is face to face I will happily pay for that pint.

Would anyone be able to offer some part time work so i can start gaining some invaluble experiance, I have no tickets yet but i have all licences up to C+E, Telehandler forklift operator and I am pretty handy driving off road.

    Cheers
