  1. Well it sounds like you have your fuel mix wrong, more than likely far too rich, hence the smoke which I assume is black? Drain it out, try mixing a Stihl 2-stroke 1-shot 100ml sachet in a 5ltr plastic fuel can, fill it, shake, and fill the saw, if it starts then bobs your uncle, if not, have you left the choke open and flooding the engine each time? If still no luck PM me and i'll have a word with one of our techs.
  2. True, it is a great saw, especially so with greater anti-vib than its predecessor. Did you go with the heated handle version, or are you toughing it out with the standard grip? We had an guy in recently who downshifted to the 20" from the 25"... but not sure why to be honest. If it's balanced and your happy then stick with it!
  3. Steve, vengeance is a dish best served cold... USA won't be there soon, bide your time, then when they get knocked out all that is needed is a 'smile'
  4. Hi stig of the dump, Silky, great brand which you can't go far wrong with. However, we have had an increase in demand for a new brand called 'Cutting-Edge', they pop up at all the usual trade fairs. The most popular sheathed saw that we supply from that brand is the 'Bronco' 310mm. The secure-to-scabbard locking mechanism is designed with assisted rollers built into the scabbard sheath giving you optimal safety & storage comfort with an easy one-handed release action, and used with a Sawpod makes this saw perfect professional pruning, trimming, lanscaping, forestry and gardening. Any queries, please PM us. Regards, Jason.
