You need a small caritool then as you lift the saw you twist it sideways then down and it pushes through the gate and is released .

I am putting together a team for a 4 to 6 month contract in the south of Sweden , starting November 11th this year .
Looking to find 6 sub contracting climbers with the ablity to prune to a high standard , and section fell safely . You will need to have your climbing tickets and own climbing kit , saws and rigging gear will be provided .
Accomodation is provided and pay for suitable climbers will be 250 sek an hour , on a 8 hour day . I am posting on here first so if it sounds of interest or you know of anyone capable of working away for a period please email me on [email protected] .
The work is all on one site and we have a house close by so a very good opportunity to get some money together over the winter period , we have invested in good equipment and looking to complement this with good climbers .

It was in Kent , at a activity farm place we did shotguns , quads and of course ax.e throwing . So as not to damage the axes we had to throw into the next target if you hit a target .
Off to the show toady , might buy one of the bigger throwing axes and set up a target down the yard

You have captured the spirit of tree work there !

Thanks , glad you liked it , i didnt know i was being filmed i thought the owner was just taking pics , so more of a relaxed climb .

The home owner wanted it all for firewood , they get through a fair bit in the winter . It was a really nice tree , where the winters have been colder of late , there have been increased trees failing due to snow build up . They had been worried due to it being over the house .

Thanks , they give the British a bit of slack , but they confiscate if your Swedish.

Here is some footage the client took of the fell . First go at the editing , there is a slight repeat so apologies for that. This was a private job we picked up after a week of pruning council trees in the area. This is by no means a instructional video more of a last tree to catch on a Sunday type of fell.

I replaced my bridge with the replacement for a dragon fly, it worked better as it is longer ,and the shackles are bigger . On a tree motion now .

I had a go of the new husky at a show last week , was impressed with the build quality and feel of the saw . Had good balance with a 14 bar , and has 3 different handle sizes to suit user , i was a medium also with a built in ring to attatch to clip on to your belt it seems the Swedes gave put a lot of thought into this saw. I have 4 tired 200's that i will use till the new saw is released , in comparison to the 201t the husky seemed a better saw.

Best rope for spider jack 3??
in SRT (Single Rope Technique)
Posted
I have used many ropes through my spiderjack and the one i will be going back to is samsom velocity , it takes the cam well and feeds itself without to much assistance .
