  3. Hello all and a happy new year! I am after some logs for the processor, up to 12 inch. Not fussed if its soft or hard so long as the price is right! Best bet to ring me on 07792655091. Thanks for your time, james
  4. Mixed hardwoods, not fussed on species or size so long as the price is right! Chestnut to sycamore so long as its cheap! Good contact as will take all year. Based near Brough on the A66, half an hour off the A1 or M6. Give me a ring on 07792655091. Cheers for looking, James

  6. Hi, i mounted a hiab and log grab on a fastrac but sold it recently on ebay, it was like the starship enterprise in the cab, too many electrics to go wrong, keep it simple or you could loose some serious cash. Yeah it was fast but a bit numb for anything but towing. Just get a simple 40k tractor.
  7. Hello all, as a new comer to this site i'd like to formally introduce myself; I am a furniture maker based in South Cumbria, just off the A66, milling my own timber, drying and using to manufacture bespoke furniture, i used to work in the trees untill i saw the light! Ok thats the formal stuff out the way, what i'm hoping is, somebody out there might be able to help me source some logs for milling. I dont mind what the mix is, oak ash beech etc and i dont mind if theres a bit of firewood in there to, but i'm mainly after saw logs. Not to massive a butt either or 16 ft logs, 10 foot will do, theres only me and sometimes the big buggers are more hard work than they're worth. Artic access is ok. Cash payment if you want. So if anyone out there is in that side of work or can pass a number on to me or mine to someone else then it would be very much apreciated. Thanks in advance. James Cartwright 07792655091 CA17 4EF
