  1. Hi Guys,

The years seem to be going quicker and quicker every year, i don't get much forum reading time as i would like these days, due to family, work, work, work and work you know what i mean. Anyway over christmas i was back at editing some of the jobs we did over 2014, it was a big year for the whole Crew and to go back and see what we achieved was a big surprise and then you start to appreciate the magnificent environment which we work in everyday. Hope you enjoy these video's below. Stay safe for 2015 :beer:

    Thanks ACE.

  2. G'day

    Some answers to your questions.

    1. We have to be very careful of the close up footage as the YouTube Tree police are out in force.

2.The big lumps of timber range between 2- 8ton.

3.The music is the hardest to pick, because of all the copyrights laws and we have to obey by the rules of being a partner in YouTube.

4.All editing is done by my younger brother, it can take up to 6 months for one video as he does it in his spare time.

5.The upside down lifts. With the 50ton crane you only have a hook height of 40m, the 80ton hook is 48m and 100ton hook is around 52m, so if we can't reach we rope the tree head off. Also we do this to stop the head rotating on the crane because sometime the leaf foliage is heavier than the timber, if you have used a crane before you will relate to this.

    6. The video was only speed up to fasten the uploading time.

The next video will be headcam stuff, (ideal for the tree police pickings) some climbing and boom work. We are filming most of the tree work we do these days, trying new ideas to catch the best views.

Hope this helps you out, happy to answer questions.

    Thanks for your support.

    ACE.

  3. G'day

Boom lift/cherry picker work has been good lately.

We have put together a short video with photos demonstrating the work we have been involved in during this year.

    Cheers

  4. G'day all

It's been a little busy down under.

All of the editing is done by my younger brother on this mac, it took about 3 months for that last video. The footage was made up of 10 tree jobs.We change the start about 3 times to get it right.

We are working on a NEW one, this one could have some heil tree removal work in it aswell.:thumbup1:

    Cheers

  5. same as everyone

cracking vid was that done by yourselves or professional outfit

loved the melting of the rope

but thought the choice of rope running on grcs was strange

    but cracking well presented work

one of the best i have ever seen

    if not the best:thumbup:

All video footage and editing was done in-house.

The video consisted of about 10 jobs.

We knew the smoking of the rope would raise some eyebrows!

with the rope running on the GRCS, it just happened to be the longest rope we had for the day.

Thanks for all the great coments and feedback.

We are now mapping out what will be our next video

    any suggestions :)

and also thanks for welcoming us! good to be a member of this forum!
