  1. Wigan Metro I just feel that each department is covering up for the rest. I just want them to be straight with me. They think it is Ok to say afterwards " as the trees were immature they would have had to have been removed" What a load of nonsense, the trees were healthy As I said before I have Images of the 2 trees before and after the felling.
  2. Cheers for that, The property I am talking about has just turned into a Council Property and the Tenant did not have permission from the council to fell them. The Tenant cut them down. Although the Tree officer has only looked at what remains of the stumps she says "the trees were immature and would not have had room to grow" I thought that 2 trees that were 47 years old and over 40 feet tall would would not have been classed as immature. I must stress I am not looking for any backing here just to enlighten me a little. Cheers
  3. I have had 2 trees cut down in the property at the back of my garden. The tenant did not have permission off the council to fell these trees. The council have now said that these trees were "Immature and would not have had room to develop " I have Images of these trees before they were felled. Both trees were over 40 feet tall and both were over 40 years old. One tree was a Holly and I am not sure what species the other was. Do these trees sound "Immature " to you experts out there ? Also the council were going off what was left of the stumps of these trees . Please Help
  4. I have had a little arguement with my local council about a couple of 40 foot + trees that were felled by a new tenant without the councils permission. One of the 2 trees in question was a Holly ( not sure what species the other was). After several arguements I got a reply from the housing officer saying that the" Tree Officer had reported the trees as immature and would have required removal as they would not have room to develop" I have images of the 2 trees which had been there over 43 years and were both over 40 feet tall. The trees were in really good condition . Do these trees sound like they were IMMATURE ? I Must add that the Tree Officer only visited the stumps of the Trees 5 weeks after they had been felled.
