bars are interchangable so there should be no reason why it wouldn't fit. I would agree with earlier posts; is the chain tensioner in the correct position, is the chainbrake off, etc etc. Is it a geniune husquvarna?

Thanks for all the posts. Think i will get Ben Laws book and take it from there. From what you guys say looks like i will have to find other sources of wood to keep the burner ticking over.

Thanks for the help. I am based in the High Peak, Derbyshire. Is it realistic to expect to be self sufficient from this size of woodland. It seems to consist of mostly sycamore and ash.

My family has recently come in possession of about 1.5 - 2 acres of mixed woodland. It's not been touched for quite a while and is quite a mess. I want to use it to provide wood for our woodburning stoves.
Can anyone recommend how i can get started learning about woodland managemment and providing enough wood so we can be self sufficient for our fuel needs?
