  6. No mate the grass verge was far too soft to get the van on and it would be a hell of a drag to get to the van otherwise

  12. My apologies guys I realise that I didn't put my measurements up correctly. What I did mean to say is: The planks are 17 inches wide and range from 3 to 5 feet long and are 2 inches thick, and there are 5 in total.

  14. Yes sorry guys I am just taking the measurements as they sit, but as for the sq foot I'm not sure to be honest maybe the other guys are right. I am open to sensible offers as I do realise the are fresh cut and need time to dry out. Basically I am just looking for a quick turn around as I have nowhere to store them to dry out properly.

  16. Hi guys i have just milled some oak with my Alaskan mill and I'm looking to sell for the right price. The oak is Quercus Robur and has been fresh cut today. The lengths are assorted due to various defects in the tree and range from 5'17" to 3'17" and are 2" thick. I have 5 in total and all look great, pics will follow. Pick up in glasgow area although I can travel to meet.

  18. Hi, I am looking to see if anyone has any examples of using this in a rigging setup? Basically I would like to lift branches/timber once they are still suspended in the rigging system without the use of a mechanically assisted portawrap. Anyway any help would be great, pics would be better! Thanks chris

  20. We are taking down a few large poplar trees in Glasgow, the timber will be in 3-6ft sections 20"ish diameter, roadside good access and available for uplift this week.
  21. Hi mate what size of hard wood are you after and how much are you paying, i Have bulk bags full of beech ranging from 10" diameter to 20", or can fill a tipping trailer with the same size?
