  1. Hi there, Thanks everyone for your tips and advice. I think I want to get this tree felled. It is about 10 metres tall. What would be a reasonable price for this work and where could I sell the wood once it's felled? Also - is there a quick an easy way of assessing if indeed i am able to get it chopped down at all? I have very little idea of what the legal position is on this. All thoughts gratefully received. Cheers Jon
  2. Hi everyone, I have an old yew tree in my garden which litters thousands of poisonous berries into my garden every autumn. I have small children and cats and so I am concerned about this. I don't want to kill the tree, obviously. However, I was wondering if any of you know how to stop a yew tree from forming it's berries. I'm not sure if this is strictly a arboricultural question but I would be really pleased to hear any advice you can offer. Many thanks Jon
