I use any hard wood in mine built it a few months ago out of odds and sods seems to do the trick

i need to make some room in the yard and have a old bearcat 8 inch petrol chipper it had a main flywheel bearing failer so it will need some serious loave and care to get it working again it has a kohler v twin 25hp enigine which runns well and a brand new tow hitch only used a couple of times.

This is my ifor with a small hiab will lift a ton close in bit nose heavy but don't notice it on the ranger and just load the trailer bit further back. Very useful wish I had done it years ago.
