i am looking a buying a used firewood machine i use to work for a bloke many years a go who had a processor that was a circular saw it was made by posch iv used that machine for 6 years and it was great it cut fast and the ram was very powerful. now my new boss wants to buy a new one he wants me to go a look at one with a chain and i told him that the are not as good as circular saw ones but he wont have it.so i thought i would see what your point of view is and hope its the same as mine. does anyone have a second hand processor for sale good bad condition anything considered cash waiting

any one get any numbers for a artic lorrys in west sussex got a quote for £12 a ton thought that was a bit much

i use a hole plastic bin with 3 holes drilled in the top with 3 bits of thick wire with a hook bent in one end iv had no problems (i sell mine for 3.50 to)

definitely a maul and with a bit of practice (years) iv learnt to give it a little flick with the wrist just before it hits 90% of the time no problems

hello its me again! now i was going throw some old threads i know i need to get a live but found one by you of a picture of how you store your logs using 6 foot wire barriers with a tarp over the top do you have any problems with mould or the logs getting overly wet cos it seams a very good idea

ive been offered a load of southern beech anyone no if its any good for logs.the block selling it said it burns a bit like birch and sycamore???

just started back doing logs after a long brake my boss has borrowed a 300 just for the first year its ok but poorly made ive bent the cutting blade 2 times the metal seams a bit thin and any knotty wood dont bother trying to split no chance. but if not going to do a lot of logs its better than a axe

i hit me self in the face about 8 years ago i had 69 stitch and cut a chunk out of my jaw.thank god ive always been a ugly bastard or i would have been a real shame.(i was using 272 with one hand logging want do that again) hope that helps
