  1. I must be of some use to someone! I am a mature student and this is a career change. I have worked in forestry before so using chainsaws and machinery is not a totally new experience for me. Hopefully someone can give me a chance to prove myself...............
  2. Thanks for the encouragement guys, it's not easy getting into this trade at the moment is it? It is frustrating as I just want to work believe it or not !!
  3. Hi all, I am currently looking for work in the arb industry. I am studying at college and about half way through my course. I hold a CS30 and about to take CS31. At present I carry out some volunteer work in forestry whilst I am studying, although I am looking for paid work I am willing to volunteer to do some free work in the east midlands area (near melton mowbray) in return for some more experience in the industry. I have all my own safety gear and ready for work. If anyone could help with this it would be appreciated. Thanks
  4. I know it's a bad time to be asking but I am looking for a trainee position in the east midlands, Melton Mowbray areas. I am a mature student currently studying the National award in Arboriculture at college. This is a career change for me from the motor industry although I have 2 years forestry experience from many years back. I am also currently volunteering on a country estate with the forestry department. I hold a CS30 and currently taking my other tickets in the very near future. I have done a few days work with a local tree surgeon (mainly for work experience) but do not have the work for me to continue with. I am an honest, loyal, and hard working person looking for a good company that can teach me the rights and wrongs of arboriculture. If anybody can help me I would be very grateful if you could get in touch. Cheers P.S hope this goes in the right place. I am new to using this site!
