  1. I would prefer to save the trees if possible. I do not think spiders are a factor,have not noticed an increase in spiders or craneflies here.
  2. Hi RobArb, Yes they have been strimmed round their bases but no spraying and no spillage from the digger. Will they recover in their own time?

  5. I wonder if anyone out there could help me save my three mature (about 30 years old) rowan trees? They blossomed in the spring as usual but for the first time ever there no berries and they are losing their leaves much too early in the season. Last autumn we installed a ground source heating system which involved digging up most of the gsrden with a heavy digger to s depth of one meter to place the water pipes. These are not situated near the trees but the fact is this work coincides with the state of the trees. Is there some disease that affect rowans? We are located in the West of Scotland on heavy moorland soil. Please advise.
