I am a surveyor with type 2 diabetes. If I know I am away from my van for any period I carry nuts and fruit as a precaution. Learn to recognise your symptons and advise people you work with what they may need to do if your levels go off and not any problem. It best to notify DVLA as well as insurance companies - if they policies are in place then the premiums should not change

we use a squirrel morso - shuts right down puts out too much heat for me but the wife loves it - also its a multi fuel stove

Don't forget cut and run - if a ship missed high tide they would cut the anchor rather than sit in port
Worth your salt - when salt was an expensive commodity it only went so far down the table, hence if you were valuable to the people you were worth your salt
S.H.I.T. is actually an acronym for ship high in transit, put on the packages of bird poo so they did not get put in the hold ( when wet an explosive gas is released and sailors went down with open flame causing an explosion)

pu it on your risk assessment that that is what you are doing - as risk is known it is then safe to work

Hi I'm trying to find any UA5 surveyors who would consider work in midlands area, starting on short term contracts possibly leading to full time position.
If you are interested let me know

cheers
