Vegetation Manager|North England|£21K-£23K (pro rata) 15 month contract

One of the largest environmental consultancies is seeking a Vegetation Manager to join their team. The role will focus on managing the vegetation around overhead power lines and railways, and will provide a critical link between the field and the office based teams.

Responsibilities will include

. Negotiating with public and private landowners to agree vegetation management programmes

. Conducting tree surveys and risk assessments along overhead power lines, railways and on public and private land using hand held data capture and GPS

. Supervising contractors and auditing completed work

. Assessing tree work requirements and preparing contractor work specifications
