  1. Do you know what wood they are, and are they treated?

If treated, they are not a good idea for firewood. If it's something durable I might be interested in some.

    Alec

They don't appear to be treated, looks like virgin Timber when it's cut

Is there any other way to check

  2. I've got roughly 7000 3x3 hardwood Timber Bearers approx 800mm

Is seems a shame to sell them off for firewood but I can't see any other viable option with them being so short

I'd thought so making some kind of planters etc

Any one got any better ideas! Or would be interested in buying them ?

  3. You dont see any near 3k unless dog rough and needing lots of work and probabilly the petrol at that price

Redwood Global have had one up for £3950 for a long time and it's not budged.

I would expect to get over 3k for it, I was suggesting that it would be under 3k

  4. is that a dealer price :001_rolleyes::biggrin:

No no just an honest opinion. Private would get between 3-3.5k, not that it's

Much to go by but there have been several on eBay lately (one on now at £3500) and that's what they have been making.

If it's immaculate and it seems like you e maintained it well you may get close to the 4K mark but without photos it's anyone's guess

  5. What sort of money is an yr2000 entec tw 35/150 worth?

1050 hours recent new tow hitch, roller motor, new style side panels, recent new exhaust. 4 good sets of genuine blades that will have only had 1 or 2 sharpens. Newer style roller paddle control box. Anti stress works.

Has new anvils not long ago

I was thinking 4k as not many about at this price and theyre a good chipper

I would have thought closer to 3k

  6. Probably a very long shot but I'm looking for some pannels for an early Timberwolf chipper.

I've got a machine which has been sat rotting away for a long time and I'm going to try and get it up and running again. Mechanically it's great but aesthetically its a wreck!

I'm looking for a rear hopper, back hopper door and front panel which covers the radiator.

The ones I have a beyond repair so I would have to get some made from scratch.

    Thanks in advance

  7. Hi all, I'm trying to locate the serial number on my entec 150, the metal plate on the drawbar is to worn to see, some people have said look on the inside of the exit chute but been up to yard and couldn't see anything! Is there any way if finding it out?

Is should be stamped into the flywheel housing were the discharge chute sits into place

Take off the chute and give it a good wipe and the numbers should be there, sometimes they can be difficult to see due to wear

  8. Hi

I've just purchased an rg13 And need to replace the bearings on the cutter head. Does anyone know what bearings they are? I don't want to buy from the dealer ideally as I have a bearing traders 3 miles from my house?

The old bearings were removed by the previously owner so I can even take them to match up!!

Also does anyone know what belts they have as I'm going to change this whilst I'm at it

    Regards

    Adam

  9. Cheers for the advise lads do you know where I could get the stress control components from if I don't have it. What are people's thoughts on these machines? Good / bad? Also can you grease the rollers because I can't see any nipples? Cheers

The majority of these chippers didn't have any grease nipples for the rollers. I'm pretty sure they were introduced about 2000/2001
