I have used the site on a number of occasions and it’s been good, even the smaller sites have been upfront and honest.

Give the TO a call most will be happy to advise so they don't have to deal with unnecessary applications/site visits. Normally reach them by calling the planning department.

Not sure of the hours but had it 2ys main belts still original, the drive belts to the cutter have been replaced a number of times and if honest the adjustment is a bit poor so end up replacing them more frequently than I'd like.

I just use a climbing line/blakes hitch loosely around the stem as a back up.
When I use one.
I agree with Mick if need be it's my main line with a blakes but simply as a route/rescue line down

Just outside north London we pay 3k a month for a concrete yard 80x40m with open fronted barns down one side on an industrial estate.
Yards are worth what someone is willing to pay and with more and more being lost to housing then can only see decent yards becoming more expensive!

Tree heritage in Herts have been offering a good deal recently.

On the bits of fencing we do it's the suppliers terms for products as we don't have control over that and unlimited for the workmanship.

Pretty good we have an r38 and doesn't perform quite as well as the rayco of similar size but can get in much tighter locations and the remote control means better vision and control. The petrol engine sometimes needs spinning over for longer than I would like but happy overall and would recommend.

Anyone know of someone with a tree spade in the North London, Hertfordshire area?

Yep imo fell and grind improve the soil and replace with something like laurel that you can easily maintain and will fill the gap quite quickly.

Call redwood and ask nicely to speak to Gary and he can talk you through the process.

All of it! In comparison to other trades, good job we love what we do. But have to agree wages, however every business is only as good as the guys it employs!

Sage accounting gives plenty of room to grow.

I have done some from oak and some from maple, both have cracked after the event bits for me adds to the effect 👍

Is there a reason you can't use a synthetic bracing system, used both over the years and they are sonics easier to deal with?

Allow about £500 plus any fees applicable for the road.

I think some of it depends on how you describe what you are doing, you have to be careful that you are not using it as a business location to process and sell from nor using it as a waste transfer station, if you label it as your own site for storing logs and chip to be used for yourself privately then as long as the volumes are within EA guidelines then you can almost do as you please.

Is it on a farm or garden as I believe lots of it will depend on what the land is used for and who owns it

An area TPO that we work in for a client in the Welwyn and Hatfield area lists species covered rather than trees do you think that trees that have grown subsequently are also covered then?

We use the bli200 on normal pruning then swap in a bli300 if on a dismantle. 200 is perfectly balanced the 300 a little back heavy but not to the point it’s not useable.
