    We had a 12 acre wood thinned last year and have gone into the log business! We just thought we would offer some for sale, as we have a bit to get through. I agree, it is difficult to value seasoned wood and £45.00 per ton is perhaps a bargain, it may be best to sell it by the cube. If anyone is interested, best come and have a look.

    I am after £45 ton hardwood £35 ton softwood for 12 month seasoned cordwood. Its all 3.2 m lengths mostly 6"to 14" diameter the hardwood is mixed ash, oak,birch,elm and abit of poplar and withy the softwood is the same size all spruce. It is stacked on hard standing with easy access I have got about 200 ton to sell. Ellesmere,North Shropshire

    Just sold my 1x37 and can't decide what to replace it with!! Dalan, BGU,Duun, or a new Hakki

     

    Has anyone got the new 1x42? are they a good buy? can anyone give me the good and bad points, also what are the Hakki log decks like.

  5. Thanks for the feed back, the posch s350 is £22000 with log deck and the duun 420 is £13000 also with log deck, I have seen the duun working, I thought it looked like a good bit of kit, I am going to see a Posch 350 in the new year, any one on the forum got a Duun???
