Wow ! bit harsh on Lorenzo . I am a Marquez / Honda fan and hope he does win but I would say Lorenzo has fantastic riding ability . No other Yam has got as close ....

Ha! Sorry, sounded worse than intended! Lorenzo is a fantastic rider and has responded brilliantly to Marcs brilliant start to the season! I just meant that if Marc hadnt been disqualified in Australia things would be very different!

So its down to the last round now . If Jorge wins the last round Marc has to finish 4th or better ?

I reckon Marquez has got it in the bag. Even if Lorenzo did win the championship everybody knows its down to Marcs mistake in Australia rather than Lorenzos riding abilities!

Its difficult to pinpoint just one gig as my fave!

Danzig/Misfits, Primus and Sabbath would be up there for the big names, maybe NOFX and The Offspring too. Other than that CapDown, Farse and King Prawn were fantastic to see cos they were lesser known and in tiny venues. Used to go to see local bands all the time and see some ood un-signed stuff!

Been going to Download for years too which is always a laugh!

Good to see Crutchlow in second and Bradley Smith in ninth! Marquez is definatly going to be one to watch, and so is Rossi now hes back on a factory ride! interesting to see Dovizioso manage to get that ducati on the second row!

My eyes are on Pedrosa though, he was on fire in the back end of last season!

I've been going to download for the past five years but iving it a miss this year due to the god-awful line up!

I think they peaked last year with Sabbath, Metallica and Prodigy it was always going to be downhill after that!

I went!

Weather was awful for the first few days, but i expected that! In fact i think every one expected that exept for the download organisers! It really does anoy me that I paid ALOT of money to go to the festival only to find that its so badly organised!

I really enjoyed NOFX, Prodigy and Metallica but it was Black Sabbath that really blew me away! They were amazing! Probably the best gig I've ever seen!

RIP Adam 'MCA' Yauch.

Going to be greatly missed.

This sounds scarily familliar!!

The exact same thing happened in a little town i used to live in! An Ex-para turned computer guy was letting loads of young kids hang out in his house and supplied them with booze and drugs! people got suspicious and he dissapeared! i knew his landlord and he told me the guy had left pactically all his stuff there, including some computers! When his landlord changed the locks the house was broken into and only the computers were taken.

Could it be the same guy!!???

Anyone remember Everlast (House of Pain)? Some of his solo stuff.

Sounds like its going to be a busy weekend!

Tickets for the camping sold out in no time, then they decided to open an over-flow camp site and sell afew more tickets!!

Nice to see a local show getting more and more popular!

The Pod sent me an email saying that the camp site was full so don't come, even if you have a ticket! Many there? Weather good? The jet car looked spanking as per usual.

Yeah by the sounds of it they were completely unprepared for the amount of people buying tickets at the gate! It was absolute madness trying to get out on sunday! the people who had tickets but got turned away are aparently being refunded and given free tickets to either Big Bang or BugJam next year.

Weather wasnt too bad, it chucked it down on friday night, then the sun came out saturday and by sunday it was red hot!

well.. what a weekend!

got off to a sketchy start when halfway through the 4 hour drive down there my car turned into a mobile disco with a whole host of flashing warning lights on the dashboard! Pitched the tent, had afew beers and broke my phone, had afew more beers and broke my camera, had even more beer and broke the central locking fob on my keys! went for a wander and got soaked, not a great first night! The rest of the weekend made up for it though!

Going here again this year after a brilliant time last year. All tribute bands but all very good, and such as "Badness" were the ultimate in live entertainment:thumbup:

I've heard lots of good things about this festival, but i've never been! Despite the fact I was brought up in the area!

Might see if i can actually go this year!!

Went to see Primus last night and it was amazing!

They even played some new stuff and that was brilliant too!

Les Claypool did his usual marching round in circles whilst busting out some mind-blowing basslines!

He openend the show with...

"Well, its nice to see you!

Actually thats Bullsh*t cos I cant see you at all,

but you all smell....interesting!"

It was a great night!!
