Yeah, tree stability/safety - the tree overhangs quite a large workshop - so whether the tree needs to be monitored or removed etc!

Yes sorry, my phone camera is rubbish. I origionally thought it might be Tawny Funnel Cap - Lepista inversa, I can't seem to find any info on when either of these fruiting bodies appears. I think your right it is False Chanterelle. If it is False Chanterelle then what are the implications for the Ash tree that this fairy ring apears to be surrounding - None of my books have any infomation on these! Cheers
