cheers - i think the chain brake handle is ok, - yeah i always give a "below" etc, just screwed up on that one...late in the day etc etc, thats when its going to happen.
The thing is the saw was left exactly where i had been landing everything else.

HI,
does anyone have an old knackerd ms200t kicking about?
mine was in perfect conditon until today, when it was left in the drop zone (i had just had my ground saw sent up). my next chog landed directly onto it. yes as soon as i let it go i saw the white target on the ground - cue a loud dohh....
gutted was not the word, i couldnt really have go at the groundie, as i should have checked before i let go (or should i), it would be good to have a team watching your back and that you can depend on sometimes...... i already asked them to remove tools from the work area earlier today..
the saw does start up, but most of the plastic side plate/ starter plate cracked, side handle / main handle assembly is smashed, guide bar bent.
if anyone has a "doner" saw they wish to sell, i would be gratefull.
cheers.
What's the best method of removing pampas grass?

tie a rope around the grass ultra tight, running bowline / timber hitch style, into a big tight bundle.
cut it off at the base with the 66 (may find the odd toad or tennis ball). and stick your bundle on the back of the truck - put on bonfire at the yard.
stump grind out as best you can. alternativley use a herbicide for moncotyldons.
