Hi, I just started this year in the firewood supply business. Its been a very sharp learning curve and I am now re-evaluating the project with a view to expanding. Currently I have a small purpose built drying shed which also houses a splitter and chainsaw trestle. I've pretty much sold out of my small seasoned stock and have had to stop my advertising so I guess, yes I'm interested in a proposition. I am acutely aware of how long it takes to process the logs. What sort of equipment were you suggesting that you could send over? I've just ordered a new 26 ton splitter and am looking at purchasing a tractor with an attached fork lift to allow me to stack processed logs to season. Whatever happens I will be expanding to make a viable business of it during 2009. Be pleased to hear what you are suggesting?
